This workshop is organized in the frame of Cocoon project which is funded by EU.
Cybersecurity in Power Grids is important because power grids belong to the so called “critical infrastructure“, and becomes essential as the RES and storge systems increase their penetration which, in turn, demand for more remote control and monitoring.
General aspects of cybersecurity will be addressed by the Greek Authority for Cybersecurity and ENISA (European Union Agency for Cybersecurity). Solutions for cybersecurity issues in digital electric substations, energy communities and PV power plants will be presented by professors in EU Universities that are Cocoon partners.
The workshop will be held physically on Friday 21st March 2025 at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) but remote attendance and presentations will also be possible.
