The Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) team represented the COCOON project at the 7th International Conference on Smart Energy Systems and Technologies (SEST), held in Turin, Italy, from September 10th to 12th, 2024.
Postdoctoral researcher Georgios Kryonidis and PhD student Stelios Dimoulias presented their research on frequency-related and voltage-related ancillary services in active distribution networks, as part of Task 5.2 and Task 5.3 (WP5).
Their research titles were:
🔹 Security-Constrained Inertial Response Provision in Distribution Grids
🔹 Power Smoothing as a Mitigation Action Against Rapid Voltage Changes: A Comparative Study
👏 This achievement reflects the ongoing dedication and innovative work of the COCOON team from AUTH!
